How to add admins to your Valheim Server

Being an admin is a prerequisite to use commands on the server. this is how you can promote a player to an admin.

  1. Use a website like steamid to find your steamID64.
  2.  Access the files of your server in the OPTIONS tab.
  3. Click through to the Valheim folder. Path: FILES > .CONFIG > UNITY3D > IRONGATE > VALHEIM
  4. Here you will find the adminlist.txt file. Click it.
  5. Here you can add your steamID64. Enter each steamID64 in a seperate line.
  6. Now all the players of the added steamID64s are admins.
